Welcome to MetroTaxi! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our taxi and parcel booking services through the MetroTaxi mobile application ("App"). By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using the app.

1. Definitions

• "MetroTaxi" refers to our taxi and parcel booking app and services.
• "User" refers to any individual who uses the MetroTaxi app.
• "Driver/Delivery Partner" refers to individuals providing ride or delivery services through MetroTaxi.
• "Service" refers to ride-sharing, parcel delivery, and related features offered by MetroTaxi.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to use our services.
• By registering, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and up-to-date.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and login credentials.

3. Scope of Services

MetroTaxi provides:

• Taxi Services: Book rides for personal or business use.
• Parcel Delivery Services: Send packages safely and reliably.

MetroTaxi acts as a technology platform connecting users with drivers and delivery partners. We do not directly own or operate any vehicles or delivery services.

4. User Responsibilities

As a user, you agree to:

• Use the app only for lawful purposes.
• Provide accurate information for booking rides or sending parcels.
• Pay all applicable fees, including ride fares, delivery charges, or cancellation fees.
• Not misuse the platform for fraudulent activities, abuse, or harassment.
• Follow community guidelines and treat drivers, delivery partners, and other users with respect.

5. Payments and Cancellation

• Payment Methods: Payments can be made via in-app payment systems, including cards, wallets, or UPI.
• Ride/Delivery Fare: Fares are calculated based on distance, time, and location.
• Cancellation Policy:
  • A cancellation fee may apply if you cancel after a certain period or if a driver/delivery partner has already been dispatched.
• MetroTaxi reserves the right to adjust prices or impose surcharges during peak hours or special events.

6. Limitation of Liability

MetroTaxi is a technology platform and is not responsible for:

• Delays, cancellations, or any damage caused by drivers or delivery partners.
• Loss or damage to parcels during delivery.
• Accidents or incidents occurring during rides.

While we strive to ensure the highest safety standards, users acknowledge that rides and deliveries involve inherent risks.

7. Driver and Delivery Partner Responsibilities

Drivers and delivery partners are independent contractors and are required to:

• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Maintain professional conduct during rides and deliveries.
• Ensure the safety and security of users and parcels.

MetroTaxi is not liable for any misconduct by drivers or delivery partners.

8. Privacy

Your use of MetroTaxi is governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

9. Account Suspension or Termination

MetroTaxi reserves the right to:

• Suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms.
• Block access to the app for fraudulent activities or abusive behavior.

10. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, and intellectual property on the MetroTaxi app are owned by MetroTaxi. Users may not copy, distribute, or misuse any content without prior written consent.

11. Dispute Resolution

In case of disputes:

• Disputes unresolved through support will be governed by the laws of India and handled in the courts of Coimbatore.

12. Changes to Terms
